CalFlow
Intelligent calendar management & scheduling with AI MCP integration.
Overview
CalFlow connects traditional calendar workflows with agentic AI capabilities. Beyond standard scheduling, user authentication, and availability management, it exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server so external AI tools can inspect availability and manage events.
Why I built it
Traditional calendar applications require manual intervention for every scheduling update. CalFlow gives AI agents programmatic access to inspect calendars and manage scheduling workflows autonomously.
What I was exploring
Model Context Protocol (MCP) server design, agentic workflow automation, Supabase SSR authentication, and real-time scheduling conflict resolution.
How it works
Next.js App Router provides the responsive web interface. Supabase manages authentication and database tables. A dedicated API route exposes an MCP server for AI agent integrations.
Technology
Interesting problems
Exposing clean MCP tool interfaces that AI agents can reliably call without hallucinating date formats or schedule conflicts. Managing real-time calendar updates securely.
What I learned
MCP is a powerful paradigm for turning full-stack applications into agentic tools. Standardizing schema contracts makes AI integrations robust.
Current status
Active — A modern calendar and event management application integrated with Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing AI assistants to read, schedule, and optimize meetings natively.
