Pavan Palle
Software engineer, builder, experimenter. I work at the intersection of backend systems, AI, games, and creative technology.
Who I am
I'm a software engineer with significant experience building backend systems, working with enterprise platforms, and increasingly, integrating AI into the products I build. My background is primarily in Java, Spring Boot, and backend engineering — the kind of work that prioritises correctness, reliability and scale. But I'm most alive when I'm building something that didn't exist before. Projects that sit at the edge of technology and ideas, where the interesting questions aren't just technical.
What I build
I build products that explore what's possible — games that use psychology, AI pipelines that automate creative work, learning platforms designed around how memory actually works, and generative media experiments. Not all of it ships. A lot of it is exploration. But the exploration is the point. The best projects come from following a question seriously enough to build something.
How I think
I'm interested in the overlap between technology and human experience — how software changes how we think, learn, play, and relate to each other. I find psychology and philosophy as useful as any technical discipline. Understanding how people think and behave is at least as important as understanding how systems work — often more so.
Background
My technical background includes extensive work with Java and Spring Boot, building backend systems and microservices. I've worked with SAP Hybris, designed REST APIs, and built full-stack applications across a range of domains. More recently I've been going deep on AI integrations — connecting language models, building agents, automating workflows, and exploring what becomes possible when AI is treated as infrastructure rather than a feature.
